I ordered Acronis True Image expecting to install it on each of our computers to protect the two different sets of files. However, upon receipt I learned that it could be installed only on one computer and that I would need to buy, at FULL PRICE, a second copy to protect both computers. So, I returned it. It seems to me that Acronis is going a little far with regard to home users. With regard to business users, many software companies allow a discount for additional licenses of their program beyond the first (if it is limited to one installation). Acronis, on the other hand, demands FULL PRICE for a second copy--and from a home user. Further, and this is another reason for buyers to beware, I enquired about the ability to copy a cloned hard drtive onto a new computer I am planning to buy--and was told by an Acronis customer service person that it was not possible to do so, because True Image was not intalled on that new computer!!! Can it be possible that the good reviews Acronis has received has gone to their heads and made them a bit arrogant???
