We are a two member household, not a business, but we own two computers, each of which we use for different purposes. I ordered Acronis True Image expecting to install it on each of our computers to protect the two different sets of files. However, upon receipt I learned that it could be installed only on one computer and that I would need to buy, at FULL PRICE, a second copy to protect both computers. So, I returned it. It seems to me that Acronis is going a little far with regard to home users. With regard to business users, many software companies allow a discount for additional licenses of their program beyond the first (if it is limited to one installation). Acronis, on the other hand, demands FULL PRICE for a second copy--and from a home user. Further, and this is another reason for buyers to beware, I enquired about the ability to copy a cloned hard drtive onto a new computer I am planning to buy--and was told by an Acronis customer service person that it was not possible to do so, because True Image was not intalled on that new computer!!! Can it be possible that the good reviews Acronis has received has gone to their heads and made them a bit arrogant???

The program is not worth the money. It does not perform as promised. Don't waste your money on this product.

It's a longway from average users threshold of tolerance. The vid is footage of this companys software in action. Enjoy

I ordered 'Acronis True Image Home 2009' backup software on 08-Jan-09 from Amazon. I requested next day (09-Jan) delivery so I would be able to use it that weekend. The shopping cart clearly said "One-Day Shipping -- Get it tomorrow Friday January 9!"

The product had not arrived when I got home from work on the 9th. I called Amazon at 7:00 PM that evening and talked to one of the customer service representatives. She checked with the warehouse and found that the product had been packed and was being prepared to be shipped. I told her to cancel the order, since I would be going to a store (Best Buy) to purchase a copy of the software. Since the Amazon order had not arrived on time, it would be of no use to me. The Customer service rep said she would contact the warehouse to attempt to cancel the order.

The order tracking information stated that my order was being shipped UPS. Their records indicated that they had received the information on the shipment on 08-Jan, but that the shipment had not been picked up.

My credit card was charged for the purchase on 08-Jan.

USPS delivered a package on 20-Jan. It contained my order. There was a UPS next day mailing label, with a "Global Mail" sticker (with the notation "Time Sensitive Material" on it) on top of the UPS label. The Global Mail sticker indicated that the package had shipped on 16-Jan.

Needless to say I will NEVER again order anything that is time sensitive from Amazon.
