Then I bought this program. I tried to install it into my laptop I was informed by my laptop that it would take 256 MB and my Tosbita didnt have the space to accomadate it. I went back and stripped down my files and still I could not use it in my laptop.( I had already installed it in my Dell desktop without problems = more RAM than laptop. When I was contacted by the seller for feedback, I told them that I was very disappointed that the program was so large that it could not be used in both my lap top and my desk top.(This was the reason I bought the 3 User version.) This seller told me that because I had already downloaded this program into my desktop I could not return it for even a partial refund. I have now shared my exerience with this program and will warn others that this is not a good program for people with smaller laptops and not to buy from this seller. One of the clients I work for installed McAfee on their computer (against my warnings) because he picked them up as a client. I didn't hear back from him for a few days but when he did call it was nothing but complaints about the software. It slows down your machine and misses even some of the simplest malware. <br /> <br />I strongly recommend anyone needing a good anti-virus/malware/internet security to download Microsoft Security Essentials. Just came out last week and it is FREE! I've been running this on my laptop since it came out and so far it has been awesome, several of the reviews I've been hearing have been nothing but positive and even saying it is better than AVG (which is way above McAfee in reliability). WAS I WRONG! I bought the 2010 version for my computer since my anti virus had expired. I had some viruses due to the expiration of my 2009 version and tried to install the 2010 version but it would not install due to the virus. As a computer "illiterate" and rookie I find the McAfee Total Protection 2010 to be very complicated to understand as how to install it and very delicate. I had to destroy my viruses from a FREE source instead of paying the $80 something dollars by McAfee to be able and install this 2010 version. I'm so disappointed at McAfee for this kind of business tactic. McAfee should be able to clean and clear your computer from viruses for FREE in order to install their products. McAfee will loose a lot of clients for they have lost my business from this. I wont buy McAfee anymore and will look for other products that will protect my computer,like the product that was FREE to download and clean my computer from CNET. It was called Malwarebytes.
