Microsoft Money Plus Home and Business
I switched from Money 2006 to Money Plus last year when only the beta version was available. When it was almost time for the beta version to expire, I tried to buy the new program. Unfortunately it was not yet for sale, nor would it be for several months. When the beta expired, the program was only good for viewing data. The new data format of Money Plus made it impossible to export the data to Quicken or back to Money 2006. I was left with the choices of (1) going back to Money 2006 and manually inputting all the data since I switched to Plus, (2) not using any accounting software while I waited for Money Plus to become available, (3) switch to Quicken. Since I was starting over anyway, I decided that was a good time to switch to Quicken.
Like an earlier reviewer, I have other issues with Microsoft (which used to be my favorite software company). Office 2007 Pro has a totally unfamiliar interface and Outlook 2007 is the most unstable program I’ve ever used, even after upgrading XP to SP3 and Office to SP1. Bill Gates needs to go back to work and fix his company.
