Nero PhotoShow Deluxe
There are three parts to Nero PhotoShow Deluxe. First, the management side deals with searching and categorising your collection of images, as well as editing them and touching them up. The editing options are easy to follow but limited in depth. That said, there’s enough here for most beginners, and editing isn’t really the point of PhotoShow Deluxe.
The Share section works with an online photo service called PhotoShow Circle. Users can automatically upload selected images for others to view and download. There’s also the facility for emailing them and for exporting them in other ways. Finally, the Make section is the interesting part, where users can create slideshows with music, screen savers and dynamic Desktops, in which your Desktop background changes after a certain amount of time.

It’s very easy to create all of these, and the built-in themes are generally high quality. There is also the option to create custom themes for slideshows, which adds a bit of work but makes things much more flexible. The transitions and effects that come with the program are very impressive and mean that it’s fairly easy to create an impressive photo slideshow. It also includes the tools for creating a movie file or a disc of the show.
